A match against Sudan follows on the 15th and the final match will be against Guinea-Bissau. Both teams will lock horns on the 19th of January, 2022.

Hope for the Super Eagles

Having relatively known opponents in Egypt and Sudan, who are from the Northern side of the continent, it is believed that Nigeria should thrive. This is owing to the related weather condition and the Garoua atmosphere, which is closely related to that of the West Africa giant. Additionally, playing in Cameroon should be seen as playing on home soil due to the historical relationship between Nigeria and Cameroon.

It should be borne in mind that when Nigeria hosted the Nations’ Cup in the year 2000, Cameroon won it. Thus, it is a time to return the favor. We hope that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will do the country proud on their sister nation’s ground.
